Useful info for your stay

Just outside the town of Mullinar, we are located in the midlands and are a handy spot to spot during a visit to Ireland.
We are serviced by our own train station and bus route to other major towns. Driving 1 hour to Dublin, 1 hour and a half to Galway, surrounded by other beautiful counties
We can host groups up to 12. If you have a larger group let us know and we will endeavour to accommodate extra guests close by.
2 nights minimum. Everything is subject to availability.
For stays longer than a week we provide a house clean and change of sheets
Your own car greatly reduces costs and gives you more flexibility.
Taxis and minibuses can be booked through us as part of the concierge service.
Toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and toilet roll are always provided.
We also keep a small stock of toothbrushes for anyone who forgets theirs.
Yes - both are provided as part of your booking. Just let us know if you need them when you enquire.
It depends. The more of your group that attends, the more likely the activity becomes private.
Smaller numbers may join a public group for some activities.
Pack for the weather and comfortable shoes. Always handy to have a pair of slippers for the house.

We aim to run as low-impact a stay as possible.
We’re plastic-free & refillable where we can be and we’d love for your break to leave as little trace as possible.
We have a landfill in Mullingar and we’d prefer not to fill it.
Our water comes from a well that serves a handful of properties.
It’s high quality, but it’s not an infinite resource. We ask guests to use it with that in mind.
The water we drink is from a well, it is high in iron and has a strong taste, bottled water is available.
We won’t spend money with any BDS-listed company.
If you bring products from any of these companies into the house, we ask that you take them home with you when you leave.
We shop with local, independent vendors wherever possible.
