The Wild Farm Story

Meet Olga and Kate

We've both been the person who organises the group trip. The one with the spreadsheet, the WhatsApp groups, the never-ending to-do list, who arrives exhausted before the holiday has even begun.

That's exactly what we didn't want for our guests.

Our Story

The Wild Farm has been in Olga’s family for decades.

For the past seven years, we’ve run it as a self-catering cottage, and over that time, noticed something. People would arrive already worn out from the planning and more often than not, the person who'd organised it never quite managed to switch off.

We loved seeing how much it meant to guests when they felt genuinely looked after and taken care of.

When things were already thought of, they could just arrive and be present with their loved ones.

That's what made us want to build something different.

Who we are

After meeting in our late twenties in Australia (although we actually went to the same college but didn’t know each other then), we both found ourselves back in Ireland years later.

We were navigating different stages of motherhood, and looking for work that fitted around our lives rather than the other way around.

Kate has spent years managing restaurants and hotels across Ireland.  She knows hospitality inside out and has an eye for the details that make a stay feel effortless.

Olga has worked in the arts, mostly theatre, with hospitality always running alongside it.

Between us, we've spent a long time thinking about how to make people feel at home.

What we want for you

Your holiday shouldn't start with a to-do list.

Our job is to take the planning off your hands so that by the time you arrive, your only job is to enjoy it.

A place where your only concern is getting yourself here. We'll handle the rest.

Ready to book your stay?

Family time is precious and holidays should feel like a break from everything (especially the cooking!)
